I went shrine exploring in Niko today with the Oregon posse. Nikko is a hour and a half express train ride from Tokyo. One of the places we visited was a beautiful temple built for Tokugawa Iyeasu. It's famous for the see-no-evil/hear-no-evil/speak-no-evil
monkeys picture. The temple was built with Iyeasu's hope for the future peace of Japan in mind. Later in the gift shop at the bottom of the hill, I saw this:

Ian: Is that what I think it is?
Matthew: Makes sense. When I think of peaceful shrines, laser machine guns are the first thing that come to my mind.
