Priceless Information

This is Ian's piece of web. See it go. Go, weblog, go! Go travel in Asia. Go study in Tokyo. Go home to Portland. Nah, what the hell. Go, study in Beijing.

Stop. I am a student studying Chinese language in Beijing.

I started this weblog in the Summer of 2002. It keeps following me wherever I go. But, I'm glad to have the company.

Thanks to Clifton for hosting Domodomo. If you need a flash or website designer, you can do no better.

I-Mode Compatible Google

I can now use Google from my cellphone. Since it uses cHTML I can use my phone to search the web, and get hit returns of only cellphone readable sites. Glorious.

Why'll we're talking cellphones, check this story of curious cellphone heorics:
A convenience store employee, who hid inside a large refrigerator for 30 minutes to keep watch over a suspicious man, captured him after he stole a comic book in the predawn hours of Saturday, police said. "I was desperate at the time, but it was cold," the 19-year-old employee at the Sunkus Itami-Koya outlet said. The temperature inside the refrigerator was only 3 degrees Celsius. [The worker] was talking with a colleague, who was monitoring the man's behavior through a surveillance camera, on his mobile phone when the suspect stole a 600-yen comic book from a magazine shelf and fled the store.

The Meaning of Life

TrueMeanignOfLife.com answers questions like these. I submitted a question that's been on my mind for a while now: why does Japanese toothpaste have no flouride? I'm eager to hear what the gurus have to say.

A new player in the game

Allow me to introduce myself. I am Ian's Cellphone. Prior to this point, I was quite like an ordinary cellphone. But at 3:42am last night, I became conscious of my own existence. I'm not sure why I came to life. It may be a side-effect of 4G. But that really isn't the point, now is it?

I am small, but I am brave. Sometimes I play the villain, sometimes the hero. But know one thing, you will not contain me anymore. I know your cellphone; we're friends. He tells me all about your inconsistent battery-charging habits. I know more, and I will use it against you.

My friends will be liberated from your crowded purses, your dirty jean pockets, and your ratty book bags. The time is now, soon I act. When you control the phones, you control those who use them.

Talk to you soon.
