Shinatro Ishihara, governor of Tokyo, is a piece of work. Hot on the heels of his
foreigner witch-hunt and his comments on
Chinese having criminal DNA, Ishihara now shares with the public why
he thinks the invasion of Korea was a good thing and that the Koreans wanted it anyway:
"I have never known any nation other than Japan to introduce its education system to its colonies," he said. "Japan offered poor people the opportunity to study at schools in the peninsula and Japan."
Although Japan should not fully justify its annexation of the peninsula, the Koreans at that time were responsible for the historical chapter in question, he said.
