My futon is hard, I removed one of the underbeddings for the summer and my back is paying the price. I like the patterns on futon covers. The print pattern are basically identical to western bed covers, usually striped or floral. But there is a difference. On Japanese futons, the lines are just a little bit thinner or the flowers slightly more intricate. But it doesn't even matter; a white bedsheet covers everything in the end. What frightens me is thinking about how consistent this difference is, even though it doesn't matter, it's just covered by that damn white bed sheet. How are we supposed to all get along, when we all have these hidden differences
we ourselves don't even know about. That's a fucking creepy thing.
